DARPA has reacted quickly by reaching out to the US aerospace industry for a new partnership. They have issued a Special Notice, the fastest vehicle for getting information from industry. It’s called the “RSGS Commercial Partnership Survey.” You can read it here:

RSGS is a critical step in expanding the space economy, because it will prove out the value of space robotics for servicing, repair, upgrade, inspection, and possibly assembly. Hopefully several US aerospace companies will express their interest in partnering with DARPA for this revolutionary program.
